We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. In the following, we would like to inform you about what personal data we collect when downloading and using the Rolls app, how we process this data and what rights you have in relation to your personal data.

  3. Collection, purpose of processing and use of personal data

    We collect and process your data exclusively for the purposes described below and with a legal basis in accordance with article 6 paragraph 1 GDPR (DSGVO). If we use contracted service providers for individual functions of our offer, we will inform you in detail about the respective processes below.

    1. Data processing when downloading the App

      When you download the Rolls app from an app store, the required information is transmitted to the app store, in particular the username, e-mail address and customer number of your account, the time of download and the individual device identification number. This data is not collected by us, but within the scope of your usage relationship with the respective app store. We have no influence on this data transmisssion. you will find more information in the data protection notice of the respective app store.

    2. Data processing when using the App

      In order to be able to use the services of the Rolls app, a user account has to be created. The user account can be deleted at any time by e-mail to support@rolls.cam or by phone to the responsible from point 1 of this data protection notice. When using the Rolls app, we process personal data as follows:

      1. Personal information for your user account. Our legal basis is article 6 paragraph 1 sentence 1 letter b GDPR:

        • Email address
        • Name
        • Profile picture
        • Rolls that the user joined
      2. In order to be able to offer or guarantee the functionality of the Rolls app, we process the following data. Our legal basis is therefore the fulfilment of the contract (article 6 paragraph 1 sentence 1 letter b GDPR) or our interest in the demand-oriented design of the Rolls app (article 6 paragraph 1 sentence 1 letter f GDPR).

        • Operating system and its interface (depending on the browser)
        • Language and version of the operating system (depending on the browser)
        • IP address
        • Date and time of request
        • Content of the request (specific page)
        • Access status/http status code
      3. As part of our user support, we collect your data to help you solve your problem. This also includes the pseudonymized logging of your activities within the Rolls app.

  4. Disclosure of data

    We treat your data confidentially. Within Intervall Beratung GmbH, only those departments and employees who need your data to fulfill the above-mentioned purposes, receive access to your data. We will only transfer personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the aforementioned purposes and is permitted by law or if you have previously consented. In addition to the recipients named above, we also use the help of other service providers (processors) to fulfil our obligations. The following categories of recipients can receive data: IT service providers, Data storage and processing services, File and data medium disposal, Authorities.

  5. Storage period

    The data processed by us will be deleted in accordance with the legal requirements as soon as their permissions for processing are revoked or other permissions lapse (for example, if the purpose of processing this data has lapsed or it is not necessary for the purpose). Unless the data is deleted because it is necessary for other and legally permissible purposes, its processing is limited to these purposes. The data may be blocked and will not be processed for other purposes.   6. Use of external links

    The Rolls app may contain links to websites of third parties, which are not affiliated with us. After clicking on the link, we no longer have any influence on the collection, processing and use of any personal data transmitted to the third party by clicking on the link (such as the IP address or the URL of the page on which the link is located) because the conduct of third parties is naturally beyond our control. We assume no responsibility for the processing of such personal data by third parties.

  7. Security

    Our employees and the service companies commissioned by us are obligated to secrecy and compliance with the provisions of the applicable data protection laws. We use state-of-the-art technical and organizational security measures to protect your data provided to us from accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction, or access by unauthorized persons. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

  8. Data Encryption of Photos

    To ensure the security and privacy of the photos you take and share within the Rolls app, all photos are encrypted during transmission and while stored on our servers. This means that your photos are protected by encryption protocols that prevent unauthorized access to your data both in transit and at rest. Only authorized users with the appropriate permissions can view the photos within the Rolls app. We employ industry-standard encryption methods to safeguard your images, and these encryption processes are regularly reviewed and updated to comply with the latest security standards.

  9. Rights of users

    With regard to the processing of your personal data, in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR, you have the right to request information about the data processed by us about your person. Furthermore, you also have the right to correct data in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR or to have it deleted in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR, as well as to restrict processing in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR. Moreover, according to Art. 20 GDPR, you have the right to request the handing out of the personal data you have provided in a structured, common, and machine-readable format. With regard to the right of access, the restrictions of § 34 BDSG and the exceptions of§ 35 BDSG apply to the right to erasure. You can also object at any time to the processing of your personal data for advertising purposes ("objection to advertising".)
